We are excited and honored that you are taking the time to learn about us.

We admire your decision to consider adoption for your child and we respect and value you. We intend to raise a child who knows they are loved both by you, their birthparent(s) as well as us, their adoptive parents. We are committed to ensure your wishes are heard and respected. We are not able to have children and family is very important to us. In March 2020, after struggling with getting pregnant, we sought medical advice and were left with no clear answers why we couldn’t conceive. After 4 failed in vitro fertilization attempts, we united in our decision to adopt a child knowing that parenting is far more than genetics; it is unconditional love and commitment. We are very open to any type of openness, and will respect you and your wishes throughout the process. 

 ABOUT US

We met in the summer of 2017 through mutual friends.

We went for ice cream, talked for hours and have been inseparable ever since. We felt very comfortable around each other right away and realized we came from similar families with shared values. We were engaged in September 2018 at a Cleveland Guardians baseball game and were married in July 2019. They say, when you know you know.

OUR HOME

we live in Moreland Hills, Ohio, which is a very nice suburb about 30 minutes east of Cleveland.

We bought our first townhome in 2018 and recently moved to a bigger place in 2020 in the same neighborhood because we love it so much. Our backyard has beautiful trees and a walking path that goes directly to the elementary, middle and high school campus. The school is ranked one of the top school districts in the state. The campus has a great playground, baseball fields, tennis courts and track. We also have a community pool in our development with a lot of kids.

 

OUR FAMILIES

Katie is the oldest of 4. She has 2 sisters and a brother. Connor has 2 younger brothers. We live 10-20 minutes from all of them including both of our parents who are still happily married.

This will be the first grandchild in the family on both sides. They are so very excited and ready to spoil a kiddo with love. Connor’s mom is an amazing cook and we go over there once a week for a home cooked meal. We get the opportunity to spend every birthday and holiday together. We both have large extended families with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Connor’s family likes to get together during the day and Katie’s in the evening so we are lucky enough to spend all holidays with each family. We also get both families together on Thanksgiving. We love to catch up, laugh and watch sports together.
