It’s difficult for us to express the joy we feel as we fulfill our greatest desire of being parents, while also expressing our sincerest gratitude for you. So, first and foremost, thank you for your consideration and time in reading our profile!
We’ve learned in life that sometimes the most difficult roads can lead to beautiful destinations. When we found out we weren’t able to have biological children together, it felt like we had come to a dead end. It turns out though, that God was leading us on a “detour” and even though we didn’t understand it, we chose to have faith and follow it.
Our detour has now led us to our greatest adventure yet – growing our family through adoption. We’re beyond excited and confident that this is exactly where we’re supposed to be. We picture the day that a child is placed in our arms and the instant love we will feel. We know that every step we’ve had to take will be so worth it!
We’ve made the decision to adopt because we have so much to share with a child. Being parents is a dream of ours and it doesn’t matter to us how it happens. What matters is that we’re ready and eager to provide the stability, unconditional love, and nurturing that a child deserves. We’re praying for an open adoption and have so much love in our hearts already for the woman or family who chooses us to parent their child.
ABOUT US
After almost ten years of marriage, we’re still best friends.
We spend almost every hour of every day together and get along extremely well. But we’ll be honest; our love story didn’t start that way. Dan had to spend several months convincing Lindsay to date him. Our siblings were high school friends, but we didn’t meet until college. We laugh because we don’t remember our first date but knew we’d get married after only a few weeks. Something just clicked and if you believe in soul mates, that’s how it felt.

OUR HOBBIES
Traveling
We spent the past two years traveling the country full-time while living in an RV! We knew we’d love the adventures, but we didn’t expect the growth that happened inside of us.
Taking a big risk to hit the road changed us. It made us more passionate, intentional, and driven (no pun intended!) people. We accomplished some of our bucket list items and yet, it brought us back full circle to wanting to grow our family.
Traveling is our absolute favorite thing to do for so many reasons – to explore beautiful scenery, experience new things, spend quality time together, etc. But our favorite thing about traveling is learning about difficult cultures, meeting new people, and expanding our own perspectives, beliefs, and knowledge of the world we live in. We feel strongly about continuing to travel with our child so we can give them the same opportunities!
OUR HOME AND FAMILIES
Family is the heart of our home.
We have a big, close, loving family who has always supported us in everything. They are eagerly waiting to welcome and love not only our future child, but the family that he/she comes from as well! We believe that family is about love and acceptance, not genetics.
Colorado will always be our home. It’s where we both grew up and where our entire family lives. We love the laid-back lifestyle that it offers, along with the opportunities to be outside year-round. Having grown up in the same city, we have very strong ties to the community and a wonderful support network here. It will be so special to share so many parts of our childhood with our son or daughter.
OUR PETS
Kyla and Pepper
We have two sweet dogs, Kyla and Pepper. Kyla is an 11-year-old Australian Shepherd who loves watching TV and stand up paddle boarding with Lindsay. Pepper is a snuggly 8-year-old Black Lab mix who can’t get enough of playing fetch. They come along on all our adventures! If we can love dogs this much, we can’t imagine the love we’ll have for a child!
“We both are grateful that we have found careers that allow us to work from home. It’s very important for us to have the ability to take work with us wherever we go so we can travel whenever we want to without having to take time off from our jobs.”
IN CLOSING
Thank you again for letting us share our hearts with you. Since following our detour, we’ve realized it was the path we were meant to take all along. It’s led us here today, to you, and someday to a beautiful child.
As parents, we hope to instill confidence in our child and the courage and determination to dream big! We will love and support them no matter what and raise them to be kind and accepting of others. In addition to a warm and loving home, we hope to give them an abundance of experiences and memories!
We hope to have an open relationship with you and your family so you can continue to play an important role in your child’s life. You’ll always be important to us and we will raise your child to respect and honor you. They will always know that they are a child of God, a gift from their birth parents, and a blessing to us.
